During Women’s History Month, join Centropa and Holocaust Museum LA (HMLA) for a two-part online professional development series about women standing up for themselves and others, overcoming hardship, and surviving the Holocaust. Using Centropa’s interviews with elderly Jews in 15 countries, along with the old family photographs they digitized of Jewish life in the early 20th century, and survivor stories from the HMLA archive, we will discuss the prewar and Holocaust experiences of Jewish women and girls in Central and Eastern Europe. You will return to your classes with user-friendly resources, including lessons you can adapt to your curriculum.
